
Dr Helen Lloyd
Helen is a long-standing, well-established part of the fabric of Meadows Medical Centre and Northern Rivers communities. She is a GP with over 14 years experience and knows the local health landscape intimately.
Helen enjoys all aspects of General Practice including all life ages and stages, male and female health checks and management of chronic disease.
She has a special interest in adult internal medicine with particular focus on allergic disease and immunology. She was awarded the University Medal for most outstanding academic performance in completing her graduate certificate in allergic disease from the University of Western Sydney in 2019.
Helen enjoys mentoring training clinicians and presenting and educating "up-and-coming" GPs.
When she's not in her office you will find Helen out and about in the Northern Rivers with her young family, enjoying live music or rowing in various regional regattas.

Dr Rosie Hamilton
Originally from WA, Rosie studied and trained in Sydney before fleeing North to do her GP training. She has worked at Meadows, and lived locally, for 15 years now. She has also worked a 9 year stint at headspace Youth Mental Health Service in Lismore. She is a Senior Lecturer in General Practice for Sydney Uni’s rural school in Lismore. Rosie sees General Practice as the best way to practice good holistic medicine. She has special interests in mental health, adolescent health and sexual health as well as gender diversity. It is whole person whole-of life care that really interests her though. She believes it is a real privilege to help people work towards their best possible true health, on all levels. Rosie has completed a Masters in Psychiatric Medicine, Level 2 Mental Health Skills training as well as a certificate in Sexual and Reproductive Health and is trained in IUD insertion and Medical Termination of Pregnancy.

Dr Filipe Soares Rocha
Filipe completed his Integrated Masters in Medicine in Lisbon and Paris. After his European journey and teaching medical subjects in Sydney, he has worked in Australian General Practice since 2014 and has taught clinical reasoning to medical students at Bond Uni.
He holds Australian qualifications: Royal Australian College of GPs Fellowship; Medical Council Cert.; Family Planning Cert. in Women's and Men's Reproductive and Sexual Health; Cert. in Mental Health; Institute of Ultrasound certificates; Advanced Cert. of Skin Cancer.
Filipe asserts continuing care from prevention to minor surgery, in all ages. Whilst selecting a specialty, he liked so many fields he could not pick a specific one, so he specialised in General Practice, considering the patient as a whole person, beyond a symptoms presentation.
He loves a clinical jigsaw puzzle and a good laugh (what a remedy!). And dogs.

Dr Emma Gordon
Dr Emma Gordon completed her medical degree and Bachelor of Physiology in the UK. After working in Emergency, Oncology and then Palliative Care she specialised in General Practice to fulfil her passion for holistic health care.
Emma has a particular interest in women’s and adolescent health, and is trained in Implanon insertion and medical termination of pregnancy.
Emma is a dedicated, knowledgable and energetic young doctor.
In her spare time she enjoys travelling, pilates, surfing and running on the beach.

Dr. Natalie Lindsay
Dr. Natalie Lindsay is a graduate of one of Australia’s best medical schools, the University of Queensland in 2008. She is hugely experienced in the provision of local General Practice care having worked in the region for over 13 years. She resides locally with her husband and two young sons.
Natalie enjoys the variety and challenge of General Practice and working with patients to achieve positive health outcomes. Her particular interests include paediatrics and chronic disease management.
Natalie is a senior lecturer in General Practice with the University of Sydney and has a conjoint appointment with the department of General Practice, Western Sydney University. In addition, she holds a Master in Public Health - infectious diseases, has a Diploma in Child Health as well as a certificate in Sexual and Reproductive Health.

In her spare time Natalie enjoys travelling and camping with her family, hiking and spending time at one of our beautiful local beaches.

Dr Bridget Lawler
Dr Bridget moved to the Northern Rivers late 2023, after one year of travel and working across regional and remote Australia. She is passionate about Women’s, Sexual and LGBTQIA+ Health and has completed her Diploma of Children’s Health, and Obstetrics and Gynaecology. Also, she is trained in gender affirming care, implanon and IUD insertion and is a registered medical abortion provider.
In her spare time, you will find Bridget on a trail run, taking a board out for a 1 foot surf or exploring the coast line with her partner in their old van.

Dr Jamie Pearce (Skin Cancer Clinician)
Dr Pearce works full time in skin cancer medicine and surgery and is based in the Norther Rivers.
He was born in London and initially trained in General Practice in the UK, before moving to Australia to take on further training for a career in skin cancer medicine. He now has several years full time experience in the field, having performed thousands of skin checks and managed countless skin cancers.
He has formal training from the University of Queensland (UoQ) in advanced diagnostics and therapeutics of skin cancer, along with a distinction in a post graduate diploma of dermatology from the Queen Mary University of London.
He is dedicated to staying up to date with research, and is currently engaged in a UoQ course exploring translational research in skin cancer medicine. He has experience in, and regularly performs more complex surgical procedures such as grafts and flaps when indicated.

Dr Adam Chakos
Dr Adam Chakos has now been a member of Meadows Health for the past 2 years. Dr. Adam received his Fellowship from the RACGP in February of 2024 and continues to consult at Meadows Medical Centre as an Independent GP.
Dr Chakos excels at comprehensive patient care and enjoys developing strong clinical relationships with his patients. He is fastidious, thorough and caring, often going the extra mile for his patients. He is hugely valued by his patients and hugely respected by his colleagues. Meadows Health is lucky to have this bright, up and coming superstar of General Practice.

Dr Miranda Cumming
Dr Miranda Cumming came to Meadows Health as a registrar. We taught her all the best tricks we knew and now she has returned as an excellent independent clinician.
Miranda is beloved by staff and patients alike for her expertise, warmth and pragmatic approach to life and to medicine.
Miranda develops great rapport with her patients and excels at whole patient care. Miranda has great recent skills in paediatrics and also enjoys managing older patients in their elder years.
Miranda has a keen interest in skin cancer diagnosis and management and looks forward to building her skills in this area alongside our experienced clinical team.
Miranda enjoys travelling, surfing, spending time at the beach and live music.

Dr Brianna Crocker
Dr Brianna Crocker has been a member of the Meadows Health team since early 2024.
Dr Brianna has worked hospitals throughout New South Wales and has worked as a GP Registrar in the Northern Rivers over the past few years.
Dr Brianna has a keen interest in Women’s and Children’s Health. She has her own young family and understands the challenges of motherhood all to well.
Brianna has excellent clinical instincts and a caring nature. We are extremely fortunate to have her presence in the practice.

Dr Albert Eisler
Dr. Albert grew up right here in the Brunswick Valley before moving to the ACT where he attended the Australian National University Medical School. Albert then completed his gruelling junior medical training working in ACT Health.
Dr. Albert wisely chose to pursue General Practice as a career swapping the frigid Canberra winters for our gorgeous sunny climes.
Albert has a broad range of medical interests and looks forward to seeing the full of gamut of medical presentations as he settles back into the region.
We are excited to have Albert on board, please give him a warm welcome home to the Northern Rivers.

Dr. Ameneh Shoaleh
Ameneh is a British born and UK trained doctor who has called Australia home since 2016, working across both urban and rural communities. She began her career in emergency medicine, intensive care, and anaesthetics but found her true calling in General Practice, where she could focus on building meaningful, community based one-on-one connections with her patients.
Ameneh is committed about providing compassionate and accessible care to patients from all walks of life. She holds a Diploma in Female Sexual and Reproductive Health from the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists and is trained in Implanon insertion and termination of pregnancy. She also has a special interest in mental health, creating a safe and supportive environment for patients to share their challenges and feel genuinely heard.
Fluent in English, Spanish, Farsi, and Polish, Ameneh values cultural diversity and ensures her patients feel comfortable and understood. Outside the clinic, she loves unwinding by the ocean—whether swimming, learning to surf, or just enjoying the outdoors.

Dr James Haslam (Skin Cancer Clinician)
Dr James Haslam is an experienced medical practitioner with 15 years’ experience practicing medicine in the UK, NZ and Australia with a focus on skin cancer medicine. He holds advanced training in skin cancer detection and treatment and can provide comprehensive skin examinations for you and your family, striving for early detection and management.
Dr Haslam completed his Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery in 2009 and obtained Fellowship with the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine in 2020. He lives locally with his family and looks forward to welcoming new and existing patients for a skin check or general health consultation.

Dr Debbie Mortimer
Dr Debbie Mortimer is an experienced GP specialising in Women’s Health.
Debbie works on a limited part time basis and is not currently taking on new patients.

Dr. Sheung (Percy) Lam
Percy is a graduate of James Cook University in Northern Queensland. He has worked extensively in Rockhampton, the Sunshine Coast and the Gold Coast University Hospital before beginning his General Practice Career and training in the Northern Rivers of NSW working in Alstonville and Casino.
Percy enjoys the wide breadth of General Practice. There is no patient presentation the same!
Born in Hong Kong, Percy is fluent in English, Cantonese AND Mandarin.
In his spare time Percy is very active enjoying local sports and travelling. He is loving a quick surf in his lunch break from his office in Brunswick Heads.
Percy adds further depth to the wonderful team of doctors at Meadows Health. We warmly welcome him onboard.
